The 3rd Annual Tri-Fire Kids Race will be held on August 21, 2011 9:00am at Mosby Woods Pool for kids age 5-12. This event is designed for kids looking for a slight challenge while still HAVING FUN, participating in a healthy activity and building self-esteem.

Due to the fact that all of the kids completed the race with smiles on their faces, asking when the next race was there was no other choice but to do it again only BETTER!

The race will once again be split up for swimmers and non-swimmers ages 5-7, 8-9, 10-12 with appropriate distances for each. The event will kick off at Mosby Woods Pool and will continue along small loops throughout the end of the neighborhood.

Triathlon - swim/bike/run
5-7 25m, .4mile, .2mile
8-9 50m, 1mile, .4mile
10-12 75m, 1.6mile, .6mile

Lifeguards will be on-duty along with a “safety” swimmer in the water for the younger group. Team Tri-Fire and Fire Dept. personnel will provide “rabbits” at each leg to guide the participants as well as along the course.
